About Us
There is a moment you will know if it has happened to you. When you put on a piece of clothing and something shifts. Not because it is the most expensive thing you own. Not because it is the most dramatic. But because it was made with attention. You can feel it in the way the fabric sits, in the weight of it, in the detail that nobody told you to look for but you found anyway.
Mita Jindal spent years inside the Indian apparel industry. She saw how clothes get made at scale. The shortcuts, the substitutions, the decisions that happen when speed matters more than craft. She decided she did not want to make those decisions.
So she started Haus of Handmade.
Every piece we make is produced in small batches in our Noida atelier. The sequins are sewn by hand. The embroidery is placed by artisans who have done this for years. The lace is cut and positioned individually. None of it goes through a machine because a machine is faster. It goes through a pair of hands because that is the only way to do it properly.
When a batch is done, it is done. We do not restock. We do not produce more pieces to meet a number. Each design lives for one run and then it is retired. The piece you are looking at right now, in your size, in this moment, may not be here tomorrow.
We make tops, shirts, dresses, co-ord sets and capes. All handcrafted. All limited. All made for the woman who notices, who picks something up and feels immediately whether it was made with care or without it.
If that is you, you are in the right place.
